So, apparently I haven't posted much...

But that doesn't mean I haven't been knocking things off the list!

I have 791 days left. Oh geez, I need to get a move on my list. So much to do, so many places to see. I need to get plans in place. My problem is I've been doing really interesting things that knock ZERO items off my list :)

Stick to the list, or stick to interesting?

I have been to Busch Gardens, and parked in Germany...

Went around Colonial Williamsburg and toured the different wonderful historic buildings. LOVE Colonial Paint Colors. I went with my parents to Mount Vernon and got a taste of the same thing. Wonderful.

I even saw a fake British takeover of the city acted out. Fantastic!

I visited Smithsonians with Ross, Cliff and Cassy. So far I have hit up the National Zoo (twice now, actually), The American History Museum, The Natural History Museum, The National Portrait Gallery and the National Air and Space Museum. Halfway there for this goal!

I went to a Kurt Hasley exhibit in Philadelphia, and managed to turn that into a trip seeing Lene and AJ, my old roommates. I picked up some prints to display at home, and will just keep those as my souvenier pictures.

I did one solo hike, bringing my total to three. I also participated in the National Kidney Foundation Walk, and raised $250 in donations. Not too shabby, but I will make an unoffical goal next year to get a whole team of people together. If anyone is willing to walk with me, please post!

I toured a chocolate factory out in PA, ate lots of chocolate, and now... still want more chocolate.

I have been working on my Mario Kart skills. I have first place in FOUR cups, four to go. Thanks to my mom for actually purchasing the game for me to make it easier for me to fulfil this goal!

I've learned swing, lindy, and charleston so far, but I counted the first two as "one" dance, since there's controversy over whether swing/lindy is one or two... so I'll just sidestep that debate and say I'm either still getting 10 or going for one extra ;)

I have already seen MORE THAN FIVE movies in the theater, and given I rarely see two in a year, that is darn impressive. I really liked them too; some of them are among my favorite movies now. (500) days of summer, and Up were fantastic. I have seen Up three times already, and it has not gotten old.

I have switched from Blockbuster to Netflix, which has helped me in watching movies. About half the ones in my queue are on demand. I have added to my queue tremendously, but I will keep to my original goals on the list. I am not counting TV shows for it, so the 4 seasons of Coupling I watched (twice) do nothing to advance it!

I finally made my dad his 8 mix CDs, and he is very, very happy about this. I've only been promising them for... two years maybe?

And my momma and I toured Las Vegas. Cocktails in the pool in the early afternoon... Penny Poker all evening, and nights at the shows. We found out the halfpriced ticketbooth also did half price food reservations. We went to Mario Batali's restaurant using this, had dinner, dessert and drinks with a bill of less than $80. Holy Cow. We also saw Mystere (a Cirq.), Ice: Direct from Russia, and the Price is Right Show (where I won a prize!!!)

My apartment indeed is livable now, my wardrobe is built and in use, but I'm also constantly rethinking how I did things -- Should I change out the shoe shelves for shoe drawers? I could fit more with less upkeep... hmmm... I also got a kick arse table for my apartment that folds up all tiny.

I went to Dino's during restaurant week, which was FANTASTIC, and I highly recommend. They have weekday early bird specials, as well as no cork fees for bringing in your own bottle of wine Mon-Wednesday. I think I may be returning!

I also need to figure out the name of the Irish Pub Vinnie and I randomly found. It was somewhere off I-66 and fantastic... but the name eludes me. Vinnie and Katie were asking about it yesterday (which reminded me to update...) so I need to search it out.

Oh! And I didn't realize it till this second, but thanks to Ross, I have completed seeing NY from a stereotypical high place. Top of the rock! I also went to the top of the fake effile tower with my mom, but I think this counts more. And THEN I saw DC from the top of the Washington Monument with my brother, Keith, so not only did I do this item, I demolished it.

I am getting a deep tissue massage soon, which I really need given how much work I have been doing on the computer. My work stance is a lot more bent over than my "casual stance", I guess because I get a bit more intense when doing work-work. I get really sucked in and hyper focused, which is GOOD, but makes my back hurt somethin' awful.

I'm slacking, because I have only tried the Red Velvet cupcake from Georgetown cupcake since my last venture. (I retried the peanut butter twice... oops)

That's it for now. I need to work on my road trips and hiking. I'm joining a hiking group which should help kick me into gear, but that route 66 road trip and seeing the Pacific Ocean is looming over me...
